Prepare For A Water Landing
Spirit Airlines #Airbus A321neo, operating the Jamaica/Montego Bay – Fort Lauderdale flight, experienced an air pressure problem shortly after take-off. The pilots stopped climbing at 5,000 feet and asked the cabin crew to prepare for a water landing.
The cabin crew said there was an emergency and asked all passengers to wear their life jackets. During the incident over Montego Bay, the pilots could return to the airport from which they had taken off.
“The pilot told us to prepare for a #waterlanding and that the highest emergency had been activated in Montego Bay,” a passenger told The Gleaner. Luckily, there were no accidents or injuries on board. Passengers have arrived in Fort Lauderdale on another flight from the airline
