JetBlue Reports $247 Million Q2 Loss, Targets Return to Profitability in 2027

US low-cost carrier JetBlue announced that it is maintaining its financial outlook for 2026 and remains on a path toward profitability, despite growing concerns over its mounting debt burden, surging jet fuel costs, and six consecutive years of losses.
Reporting its second-quarter financial results, the airline generated $2.7 billion in revenue while recording a net loss of $247 million for the three-month period. JetBlue expects its operating margin for the full year to range between negative 2% and negative 5%.
Speaking during the earnings call, the company’s CEO stated that they expect 2027 to mark a return to sustained operating profitability.
