Ryanair Warns of Rising Fuel Costs

Ryanair, one of Europe’s largest low-cost airlines, said that rising jet fuel prices could put pressure on airfares in 2027.

According to the financial results the company published on November 2, higher fuel prices are expected to increase fuel expenses by roughly €2 billion in the coming financial year. Ryanair noted that the cost increase could become more pronounced as its existing fuel hedging agreements expire.
