The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has announced that its ninth Director General, Saadia Zahidi, has officially taken office. On her first day, Zahidi met with the IATA team and received briefings on the key challenges and priorities facing the aviation industry.
Following her appointment, Zahidi expressed her enthusiasm about beginning work with IATA and its members, emphasising her belief in aviation’s ability to connect the world, support economic growth and enhance prosperity.
Zahidi also highlighted that she looks forward to contributing to IATA’s role in shaping the future of the aviation industry.
