SunExpress Named Europe’s Best Leisure Airline

SunExpress has received the “Best Leisure Airline in Europe” award at the Skytrax World Airline Awards. Having previously won the same award in 2023 and 2024, SunExpress has now ranked first in the category for the third time. The airline was also named the “World’s Best Leisure Airline” in 2022.

SunExpress CEO Marcus Schnabel said the award was particularly meaningful as it was based on passenger feedback. During the 2026 summer season, SunExpress added 18 new routes from the Turkish Riviera and cities across Anatolia to its network. The airline currently operates direct flights to 106 destinations across 250 routes in 37 countries.
