Airbus received 67 new aircraft orders and delivered 57 aircraft to customers in August 2026, bringing the manufacturer’s total deliveries for the first eight months of the year to 475 aircraft.
The 67 orders comprised 40 A321neos, 15 A350-900s, eight A350Fs and four A220-300s. Shenzhen Airlines ordered 40 A321neos, while Air China placed an order for 15 A350-900s. The customers for the eight A350Fs and four A220-300s were not disclosed.
A320neo family aircraft accounted for the majority of Airbus deliveries during August. IndiGo received five aircraft, Delta Air Lines and Wizz Air received four each, while Breeze Airways and Volaris took delivery of three aircraft each.
Other recipients included China Eastern Airlines, Air China, Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, Xiamen Airlines, Starlux Airlines, LATAM Airlines Group, Spring Airlines, Swiss, easyJet, JetBlue Airways, Transavia, China Southern Airlines, Qantas Airways, Avianca, Ibom Air, American Airlines, British Airways, Philippine Airlines and United Airlines.
Airbus also delivered aircraft through lessors including SMBC Aviation Capital, Avolon, CDB Leasing, CALC, BOCOM Leasing and AerCap. As part of these deliveries, Turkish Airlines received two A320neo/A321neo family aircraft through BOCOM Leasing and another two through AerCap.
By the end of August, Airbus had recorded 1,157 gross aircraft orders in 2026, while total deliveries during the first eight months of the year reached 475 aircraft.
