Boeing Secures 30 New 737 MAX Orders from Macquarie AirFinance

Boeing has received an order for 30 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft from aircraft leasing company Macquarie AirFinance, bringing the company’s total orders for this model to 70. The agreement, finalized in July 2025, had previously appeared on Boeing’s order list under an “unidentified customer.”

The new order is part of Macquarie AirFinance’s fleet renewal strategy, with deliveries scheduled through 2032. It also represents the company’s second direct purchase agreement with Boeing.

Macquarie AirFinance currently owns 227 aircraft placed with 84 airlines in 48 countries. Its fleet includes 160 Airbus, 65 Boeing, and two Embraer E190 aircraft. The company’s order book also includes 26 Airbus A220s, 12 Airbus A320neos, and 70 Boeing 737 MAX 8s.
