Drone Attacks Target Airport and Port in Port Sudan

Explosions and fires broke out on Tuesday morning in Port Sudan, a key city in eastern Sudan. According to local sources, the international airport and port area were targeted by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Following the attacks near the airport, passengers were evacuated and numerous flights were canceled.

The fires are believed to have been caused by attacks on fuel depots at the port. Additionally, it was reported that humanitarian aid recently delivered to Sudan by the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation was received and stored at this port. The incident has significantly disrupted both humanitarian operations and civilian air traffic in the region.
