Identity of Saudia Captain Killed in Riyadh Airport Attack Revealed

Saudia Captain Hamoud Ali Al-Kalthami was killed in the attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Thursday, October 8. Saudia confirmed the captain’s death and extended its condolences to his family and loved ones.

Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced that two attacks targeting airport facilities and a Saudia aircraft left a total of three people dead and several others injured to varying degrees. Saudia confirmed that one of its aircraft on the ground was damaged during the attack and that no passengers were on board at the time.
