Condor Updates Baggage Policy

German carrier Condor Airlines has introduced an updated baggage policy effective May 1, offering more generous allowances across all cabin classes. The revision includes notable increases for both cabin and checked baggage.

Under the new policy, the standard carry-on allowance is set at 55 x 40 x 23 cm, while the personal item limit has been increased to 40 x 30 x 15 cm. This provides passengers with greater flexibility for items carried onboard.

More significant changes to checked baggage will take effect next year. In Economy Class, the allowance will increase from 20 kg to 23 kg. Premium Economy passengers will see an increase from 25 kg to 32 kg. Business Class passengers will be permitted two pieces of checked baggage, each with a maximum weight of 32 kg.

According to Condor COO Christian Schmitt, the update is part of the airline’s strategic transition from a leisure-focused carrier to a fully-fledged network airline, supported by its own route structure and international partnerships.
