Boeing is Going To Acquire Sprit AeroSystems

US aircraft manufacturer Boeing, struggling with recent quality problems, has decided to buy Spirit AeroSystems, its largest supplier, which has been cited as one of the leading causes of these problems.

Since 2005, Spirit AeroSystems has been Boeing’s most important supplier, producing fuselage and wing components and dozens of parts for the B737 MAX and B787 Dreamliner aircraft.

However, it has been the target of frequent criticism for the parts it supplies to Boeing due to the increasing quality problems in recent times. With this acquisition, Boeing aims to take control of the company and minimize quality problems.
