Boeing Finalizes Record Order for 140 737 MAX Aircraft

U.S. aircraft manufacturer Boeing has announced the finalization of an agreement with Irish aircraft leasing company Avolon for 140 Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft. The deal marks the largest order for the 737 MAX family ever placed by an aircraft leasing company.
According to the announcement made on November 4, 2026, the agreement brings Avolon’s outstanding Boeing 737 MAX orders to more than 240 aircraft. Boeing also reported that it has secured firm orders for over 230 737 MAX 10 aircraft from leasing companies in 2026.
The 737 MAX 10, the largest variant of the 737 MAX family, can accommodate up to 230 passengers and has a range of approximately 5,740 kilometers. Boeing stated that the new order reflects growing demand for higher-capacity narrowbody aircraft.
