US-based cargo and logistics company Atlas Air Worldwide has placed an order for 20 units of the new-generation Airbus A350F. According to Airbus, the agreement represents the largest order placed for the A350F to date, making Atlas Air the aircraft’s largest customer.
Atlas Air Worldwide CEO Michael Steen stated:
“We are proud to become the largest customer of the Airbus A350F. This order demonstrates our commitment to strengthening our fleet with modern and fuel-efficient aircraft to serve both existing and new customers worldwide.”
Steen also highlighted that the A350F stands out with its long range, increased payload capacity, and strong sustainability performance, adding that the new aircraft will support the company’s global cargo operations.
The A350F is also expected to become the first cargo aircraft fully compliant with the international CO₂ emission standards set to take effect in 2027.
