Passenger Removed After In-Flight Video Argument

On February 26, prior to American Airlines’ Miami–Tampa flight, a passenger watching a video loudly on her phone without headphones was warned by the cabin crew. Despite repeated warnings, the argument escalated, and the passenger was escorted off the aircraft by police.

Witness footage shows the female passenger playing a video at high volume on her phone, prompting several warnings from the cabin crew to use headphones.

The dispute intensified as the passenger engaged in a heated argument with the crew, shouting in response. When flight attendants could not control the situation, security was called.

Police officers then persuaded the passenger to collect her belongings and escorted her off the plane. Some passengers reportedly applauded, while others thanked the crew for handling the situation.
