Boeing announced that it has finalized the design changes addressing the engine anti-ice system issue identified on the 737-7 and 737-10 models. The company stated that the certification process for these two variants is ongoing and that approval is expected to be obtained in 2026.
According to information in Boeing’s annual report, the technical issue in question applies only to the 737-7 and 737-10 models. No additional changes are planned for the same system on the already certified 737-8 and 737-9 aircraft.
Once the certification of the 737-7 and 737-10 is completed, the delivery process for these aircraft is expected to begin.
