Hilton Opens Its 100th Hotel in Türkiye at IGA Istanbul Airport
Hilton has opened Hilton Istanbul Airport, its 100th hotel in Türkiye, at iGA Istanbul Airport. Located adjacent to the airport grounds and within walking distance of the terminal, the property is the first airport hotel in Türkiye to operate under the Hilton brand. HavaSosyalMedya/Airwaybuzz toured the hotel today and spoke with officials about the property.
The hotel features 485 rooms and suites, including runway-view accommodation, as well as a restaurant, café, 24-hour bar and wellness facilities. Hilton’s OXBO food and beverage concept has also made its debut in Türkiye at the property.
The metro station opposite the hotel provides passengers with access to Istanbul city centre. The property primarily aims to serve transit passengers, as well as business and leisure travellers.
David Kelly, Hilton’s Senior Vice President for Continental Europe, described the opening as an important milestone in the company’s more than 70 years of operations in Türkiye. Tolga Aytan, General Manager of Hilton Istanbul Airport, said the property offers a new accommodation option at the airport with direct access to the terminal.
Owned by TAYA Real Estate Investment and Management Inc. and operated by Hilton, Hilton Istanbul Airport is one of 14 hotel openings the company plans to complete in Türkiye in 2026.
