Boeing has taken luxury air travel to new heights with the launch of its 747-8 VIP Turnkey Service, offering a fully integrated, Boeing-managed experience for the world’s most exclusive flyers. Announced at Las Vegas on October 14, 2025, the program redefines what it means to fly privately—combining unparalleled comfort, range, and personalized design under a single Boeing contract.
The 747-8 VIP, the world’s largest private jet, boasts nearly 5,000 square feet of customizable cabin space—a flying palace capable of carrying up to 75 passengers across 8,500 nautical miles. With this range, passengers can fly nonstop from New York to Bangkok or Dubai to Los Angeles, making it the ideal aircraft for long-haul global missions.
As part of the turnkey offering, Boeing provides a concierge-style service covering every stage—from aircraft acquisition and interior design to cabin completion, delivery, and long-term support. “The 747-8 continues to serve as a premier VIP and head-of-state aircraft,” said Joe Benson, President of Boeing Business Jets (BBJ). “We’re thrilled to extend this tradition of excellence, delivering a personalized and exceptional flying experience.”
Nearly 50 Boeing 747-8s are currently in service worldwide, including those operated for government and business leaders. The aircraft incorporates advanced 787 Dreamliner technologies, offering reduced fuel burn, lower noise, and decreased maintenance costs compared to previous 747 generations.
