United States to Offer Expedited Visa Appointments for an Additional $750

The United States Department of State is preparing to launch a new pilot program that will offer expedited visa appointment scheduling for business and tourist visa applicants in exchange for an additional fee.

Under the program, applicants seeking B1/B2 visas will be able to secure an appointment in approximately 10 days by paying an extra $750 on top of the standard visa application fee.

The initiative is expected to be implemented at selected U.S. embassies and consulates between July 1 and December 31, 2026.

Authorities emphasized that the additional fee will only accelerate the appointment process and will not guarantee visa approval for applicants who choose to participate in the program.
