Ubisoft Co-Founder Killed in Plane Crash

Claude Guillemot, one of the co-founders of Ubisoft, has died in a plane crash in France.
The 69-year-old was piloting a Cessna 421B Golden Eagle when it crashed for reasons still unknown while on approach to La Baule-Escoublac Airport on Friday, June 19. The second person on board also lost their life in the accident.
Claude Guillemot co-founded Ubisoft with his brothers in 1986 and served on the company’s board of directors while also holding the position of Executive Vice President of Operations.
French authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
