TSA Gives Green Light to Sleeping in Hammocks at U.S. Airports

The U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has issued a notable statement on social media regarding the use of hammocks at airports.

The TSA said passengers are allowed to bring hammocks to the airport and may set them up for resting. However, the agency emphasized that hammocks should only be installed in areas approved by airport management.

In its post, the TSA stated: “No one said you can’t bring a hammock to the airport. To relax and avoid any issues with the airport, ask airport staff where you can set up your hammock or sleeping equipment.”
