Strait of Hormuz Reopens Fully to Commercial Shipping

After approximately one and a half months of uncertainty, the Strait of Hormuz has been fully reopened to commercial vessel traffic.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that, in parallel with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the strait would be open to all commercial ships.

U.S. President Donald Trump also welcomed the development, stating that Iran had confirmed the Strait of Hormuz was fully open and ready for transit.
