Qatar Airways Expands Its Network with Eight Routes

Qatar Airways expanded its route network in 2026 by launching new services and resuming flights to several previously served destinations. The Doha-based airline added four new destinations to its network during the year while resuming services to three destinations. Two additional routes to South America are scheduled to launch in November.

The airline introduced new flights to Hail in Saudi Arabia, Alexandria in Egypt, and Port Sudan in Sudan, while resuming services to Philadelphia in the United States, Helsinki in Finland, and Tokyo Haneda in Japan. Flights to Bogotá, Colombia, and Caracas, Venezuela, are scheduled to begin on November 4, with two weekly services.

The new and resumed routes are operated using Airbus A320, Airbus A350-900, Boeing 787-8, and Boeing 777-200LR aircraft. Qatar Airways aims to expand its network to more than 170 destinations during the 2026–2027 winter schedule.
