Located in Uttar Pradesh, Noida International Airport is set to begin commercial flights on June 15, 2026.
This new airport will serve as a major passenger and cargo gateway for the National Capital Region and Northern India. The move aims to support the growing air traffic in the Delhi region, enhance regional connectivity, and boost economic activity.
In its first phase, the airport will feature a runway and a terminal with an annual capacity of approximately 12 million passengers. The multi-phase project, when fully developed, is expected to handle up to 70 million passengers per year.
The first scheduled flight is expected to be operated by IndiGo, with Air India Express and Akasa Air anticipated to join the operations shortly thereafter.
