Herzog Travels to Baku on Scheduled AZAL Flight

Israeli President Isaac Herzog arrived in Baku to attend the Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), hosted by Azerbaijan. Herzog reportedly traveled aboard a scheduled flight operated by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL).

It is believed that Herzog opted for a scheduled commercial flight due to Türkiye’s restrictions on the use of its airspace by Israeli government aircraft.
