Embraer and LATAM Sign New Agreement

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer and LATAM Airlines Group have signed a component support agreement covering 24 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft ordered by the airline. In addition to the 24 firm orders, LATAM holds purchase options for another 50 aircraft.
Under the agreement, Embraer’s Pool Program will provide component support for LATAM’s E195-E2 fleet, covering more than 300 aircraft components through maintenance, repair, overhaul, and exchange services. A selected inventory of spare parts will also be maintained at LATAM facilities in Brazil.
The program aims to improve aircraft availability, reduce maintenance costs, and support LATAM’s preparations to introduce its new E195-E2 fleet into service.
