Air France-KLM Reportedly Considering Rebrand as “Blue Group”

Air France-KLM is reportedly evaluating a potential name change as part of its broader European expansion strategy, including plans to increase its stake in Scandinavian Airlines and its interest in acquiring TAP Air Portugal.
According to European media reports, the group’s management believes the current structure no longer represents only the Air France and KLM brands, but a wider European airline network.
One of the proposed names reportedly under consideration is “Blue Group,” aimed at creating a more modern multi-brand identity aligned with the group’s Flying Blue loyalty program.
Air France-KLM recently officially announced plans to increase its stake in SAS to 60.5%.
