LATAM Unveils Its First E195-E2 Aircraft

LATAM Airlines Group has unveiled its first Embraer E195-E2 aircraft after it was painted at Embraer’s facility in São José dos Campos.

The airline announced that deliveries of the new-generation aircraft are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026. LATAM expects the E195-E2 to strengthen domestic and international connectivity by increasing capacity on medium-density routes.

According to the company, the introduction of the E195-E2 will enable higher flight frequencies, support the launch of new destinations, and create a more efficient network connecting different regions of Brazil.

LATAM also confirmed plans for 24 firm orders and up to 50 additional options. The airline stated that dedicated training programs for pilots are already underway, including both simulator and supervised flight training for the new aircraft type.

Company executives emphasized that the E195-E2 will make a significant contribution to the fleet in terms of operational efficiency and sustainability.
