American Eagle Aircraft Evacuated After Smoke Reported in Cabin

A CRJ-900 aircraft operating as flight #AA5318 under the American Eagle brand and operated by PSA Airlines made an emergency landing after smoke was reported in the cabin during a flight from Washington Reagan to Kansas City.

Following landing at Kansas City International Airport, the aircraft was evacuated on a taxiway. The flight was carrying 76 passengers and 4 crew members, with passengers later transported to the terminal by bus.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

It was also stated that U.S. Congressman Tracey Mann was among the passengers on board.
