Sky Lease Cargo Boeing 747’s Landing Gear Becomes Stuck in Concrete at Touchdown

A Boeing 747 cargo aircraft operated by U.S.-based Sky Lease Cargo experienced an incident at Carrasco International Airport in Uruguay when its landing gear became embedded in the concrete surface of the apron area after landing.
Reports indicate that the aircraft’s landing gear broke through the concrete, causing a partial collapse of the surface. No injuries were reported following the incident. Airport crews later safely removed the aircraft from its position using recovery equipment.
