Baby Born on Delta Flight

A baby was born on board a commercial flight in the United States. During a Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta to Portland, a passenger gave birth to a baby boy approximately 30 minutes before landing.

According to The New York Times, the woman went into labor during the flight. A doctor and two nurses on board assisted the delivery together with the cabin crew.

The medical professional who helped with the birth stated that the baby was delivered quickly and in good health. The situation remained calm throughout, and many passengers were unaware of what was happening as the mother did not scream.

After landing, the mother and newborn were met by medical teams and transported to a hospital for further checks.
