Lufthansa Unveils New Hugo Boss Uniform Collection

Lufthansa has introduced its new uniform collection at the Hangar One visitor center in Frankfurt. Designed in collaboration with Hugo Boss, the collection marks the airline’s first comprehensive uniform update since 2002.

The new lineup includes more than 40 pieces and is designed to be compatible with existing uniform elements. A standout feature is the return of the cabin crew cape inspired by the 1970s, this time presented in navy blue instead of the traditional yellow, aligning with Lufthansa’s corporate identity.

➡️ Another notable update is the introduction of rank insignia for female cabin crew for the first time in the airline’s history. Previously, such distinctions were primarily associated with flight crew and male personnel.

The unveiling took place against the backdrop of historic aircraft such as the Lockheed Super Constellation and Junkers Ju-52. Distribution of the new uniforms is planned to begin in the final quarter of 2026, coinciding with Lufthansa’s 100th anniversary.
