Airbus announced that it repurchased a total of 1,169,475 of its own shares between September 11 and 18, 2026. The weighted average purchase price was €196.43 per share.
The company said the share buyback programme is intended to support future employee share ownership plans and equity-based compensation schemes. Under the programme, Airbus is authorised to repurchase up to 10% of its issued share capital.
