Boeing Hits Highest February Deliveries in Nine Years

US aircraft manufacturer Boeing delivered a total of 51 airplanes to customers in February, marking the highest February delivery count since 2017. Of these, 43 were narrow-body 737 MAX aircraft.

Deliveries of wide-body Boeing 787 Dreamliners remained limited due to ongoing certification processes for new cabin components. Only three 787s were delivered in February, representing the lowest monthly delivery total for this aircraft type in over a year.

Boeing Commercial Airplanes also recorded 21 new orders in February, including five 787 orders from Kazakhstan’s national carrier, Air Astana. Additionally, Air Astana signed an agreement with Airbus for 25 A320neo-family aircraft, making up a significant portion of the European manufacturer’s February order book.

In the short term, Boeing expects a temporary slowdown in deliveries due to technical issues found in electrical wiring on some 737 MAX aircraft, which may temporarily affect production and delivery schedules. Once resolved, Boeing plans to resume its delivery pace.

For 2026, the company maintains its production plan, targeting approximately 500 737 MAX deliveries by year-end.
