Oman Air has taken delivery of a new Boeing 737 MAX-8 as part of its fleet modernization program. With a total of seven Boeing 787 and 737 deliveries over the past 12 months, the airline’s total fleet size has reached 33 aircraft. The development is said to have supported the airline’s recent network expansion and increased flight frequencies.
The new 737 MAX-8 is expected to operate on short- and medium-haul routes, helping the airline meet growing passenger demand with higher efficiency and next-generation technology.
As part of its future plans, Oman Air aims to add six new widebody aircraft to its fleet starting from mid-2028. These deliveries are expected to increase long-haul capacity and further strengthen the airline’s global connectivity.
