Ryanair Announces Financial Results for the First Half of the Year

Europe’s leading low-cost airline, Ryanair, reported one of the highest profits in its history for the first half of the 2025/26 fiscal year, posting a net profit of €2.54 billion. This figure represents a 42% increase compared to the same period last year. Ryanair stated that a 3% rise in passenger numbers to 119 million and a 13% increase in ticket prices played a key role in boosting revenues, which reached €9.82 billion in total.

The company also announced that it has ordered 300 Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft to strengthen its fleet, with the first deliveries scheduled for spring 2027. The load factor was reported at 95%.

Ryanair aims to operate more than 2,500 routes during the summer of 2026 and expand its presence in Europe with new bases. Among the new destinations, Tirana and Trapani stand out, with the airline emphasizing its focus on growth in countries that reduce air taxes.
