Russian Passenger Causes Disturbance on Flight After Being Denied More Alcohol

A 36-year-old Russian passenger caused a disturbance aboard an Uzbekistan Airways flight from Kuala Lumpur to Tashkent after the cabin crew refused to serve him more alcohol because he was already intoxicated.
During flight HY552, the passenger shouted at cabin crew members and fellow passengers. After landing in Tashkent, he also refused to comply with police instructions. The Russian passenger then threw his carry-on luggage down the aircraft stairs and kicked it.
Following the incident on November 5, the passenger was brought before a court and sentenced to seven days of administrative detention for disturbing public order.
