flynas Places Additional Order for 25 Airbus Aircraft

Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier flynas has placed an additional order with Airbus for five A330-900s and 20 A321neo aircraft.

With the new agreement, flynas’ total commitment for the A330neo has increased to 20 aircraft, while its A321neo commitment has reached 56 aircraft. The airline’s total firm Airbus orderbook now stands at 235 aircraft.

Currently operating a fleet of 67 Airbus aircraft, flynas plans to use the new additions to expand its six operating bases across Saudi Arabia, strengthen the capabilities of flynas Syria, and grow its domestic, regional, and long-haul network.

The airline said the fleet expansion will also support Saudi Arabia’s aviation and tourism ambitions, while helping meet the increased travel demand expected for major events such as Expo 2030 and the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
