China’s flag carrier Air China has announced plans to begin flights to Iceland as part of its 2026/27 winter schedule. Starting on October 26, 2026, the airline will operate three weekly services on the Beijing Capital–Copenhagen–Reykjavik Keflavik route.
The flights will be operated with Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Air China opened reservations for the new service on July 22.
The route is expected to support the development of tourism and trade relations between China and Iceland while strengthening Iceland’s connectivity with the Asian market.
There are currently no nonstop scheduled passenger flights between China and Iceland, with travellers relying on connecting services.
