Embraer has announced new orders for a total of 28 E2 family aircraft during the Farnborough International Airshow.
According to the company, Latin American aviation group Abra Group ordered 20 E195-E2 aircraft, Spanish regional carrier Binter placed an order for five E195-E2s, and Luxembourg’s flag carrier Luxair ordered three E190-E2 aircraft. The combined order for 28 aircraft will be included in Embraer’s third-quarter 2026 order backlog.
The three agreements also include a combined total of 30 purchase options and purchase rights. If all of these are exercised, the total number of aircraft covered by the agreements could increase to 58.
Embraer noted that the agreement with Abra Group remains subject to the fulfillment of certain additional conditions.
The orders were announced during Embraer’s press conference at the Farnborough International Airshow in the United Kingdom.
