Embraer has signed a new long-term service and support agreement with the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) aimed at increasing the operational availability of the KC-390 Millennium fleet.

Announced in São José dos Campos, Brazil, the agreement includes a comprehensive logistics support model covering the full lifecycle of the aircraft. It is designed to improve fleet efficiency by supporting both aircraft currently in service and those yet to be delivered.

Lieutenant-Brigadier Valter Malta of the Brazilian Air Force stated that the agreement will strengthen operational readiness and continue to enhance the KC-390’s contribution to the country’s strategic air mobility capabilities.

The agreement includes a wide range of services such as component repair and overhaul, spare parts supply, engineering services, technical documentation, and contingency support solutions.

The Embraer-developed KC-390 Millennium stands out with its 26-ton payload capacity, high-speed performance, and multi-mission capabilities. The aircraft can perform a wide range of roles, including cargo and troop transport, aerial delivery, medical evacuation, search and rescue, and firefighting operations.
