Kuwait Airport to Gradually Resume Terminal 1 Operations for Regional and International Airlines

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in Kuwait has announced that Kuwait International Airport will begin the gradual transition of regional and international airline operations to Terminal 1, starting June 1, 2026.

According to the official statement, the decision follows the successful completion of extensive repair and maintenance works at Terminal 1. The DGCA noted that the transition will follow a structured operational plan designed to manage passenger traffic smoothly and maintain overall airport efficiency. The migration schedule will be coordinated progressively with all operating airlines and ground handling companies.
