Trump: Second Pilot of Downed F-15 in Iran Also Rescued

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the second pilot of the U.S. F-15E Strike Eagle shot down in Iran has also been rescued.

In a post on social media, Trump stated that the rescue operation was successfully completed. He noted that multiple aircraft were involved in the mission and that the second pilot was located by U.S. special operations forces on Saturday evening.

The first pilot of the two-seat F-15E Strike Eagle, which was shot down on Friday by Iran, had already been rescued on the day of the incident. It remains unclear whether the pilot was injured at the moment the aircraft was hit or during clashes that occurred as part of the rescue operation.
