Female Passenger Sues Singapore Airlines Over Allergen Meal

A female passenger from the United States has filed a lawsuit against Singapore Airlines, alleging that a meal served during her flight triggered a severe allergic reaction.

According to the complaint, the incident occurred on a flight from Bali to San Francisco. The passenger claims the meal contained shellfish despite informing the cabin crew in advance about her shellfish allergy.

Following the meal service, the passenger reportedly experienced symptoms including difficulty breathing, swelling of the face and eyes, dizziness, and abdominal pain. The complaint states that she used an EpiPen to obtain temporary relief before being taken to a hospital for medical treatment.

In the lawsuit, the passenger alleges that proper care and attention were not exercised during the flight, resulting in serious health complications.
