On a flight preparing to depart from St. Petersburg to Mineralnye Vody, a 12-year-old child pulled the emergency exit handle, triggering the aircraft’s alarm system.
According to reports from REN TV, the incident occurred before takeoff. When the child pulled the handle, an alarm sounded inside the cabin, and the crew immediately intervened. As a result, the flight’s departure was delayed by about an hour.
There was no loss of cabin pressure or danger to passengers, as the aircraft was still on the ground at the time. After safety checks were completed, the plane took off and landed safely in Mineralnye Vody following a four-hour flight.
