Air Transat has reached a compensation agreement with the manufacturer over issues with the Pratt & Whitney GTF engines on its A321neo fleet. The deal covers costs expected in 2025-2026 when several aircraft will be taken out of service.
The Canada-based airline had previously received $25 million in compensation for similar issues during the 2023-2024 period. While the financial details of the new agreement were not disclosed, the airline will receive credit toward Pratt & Whitney products and services, including two spare engines.
