Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific conducted a special flight over the former site of the iconic Kai Tak Airport to mark its 100th anniversary. The flight, operated with an Airbus A350-1000, created vibrant and emotional scenes.
Known for its notoriously challenging approaches, Kai Tak has remained an iconic location for aviation enthusiasts even years after its closure. Following the airport’s shutdown, the area was redeveloped with skyscrapers and a stadium.
