LATAM Airlines Brazil Welcomes Its First Embraer E195-E2

LATAM Airlines Brazil and Embraer have begun the delivery process for the airline’s first Embraer E195-E2, marking a new milestone in LATAM’s fleet expansion. The aircraft is the first of 12 scheduled for delivery by the end of 2026, as part of an agreement announced in September 2025 covering up to 74 aircraft.

The first E195-E2s are expected to enter commercial service between November 2026 and March 2027. Initially, 14 aircraft will operate across 42 routes, including eight new routes and four new destinations. LATAM aims to expand its Brazilian network from the current 63 airports to more than 70 by 2027.

The E195-E2 will feature 136 seats in a 2-2 configuration, offering Premium Economy and Economy cabins, free Wi-Fi for registered LATAM Pass members, USB-C charging ports and onboard entertainment. The aircraft offers up to 30% lower fuel consumption compared with first-generation E-Jets.

LATAM plans to receive another 12 E195-E2s in 2027, supporting its strategy to expand domestic connectivity and improve operational flexibility across Brazil.
