Malaysia Airlines has renewed its Integrated Materials Management (IMM) services agreement with Boeing for another five years. The agreement was announced during MRO Asia-Pacific 2026 in Singapore.
Under the renewed agreement, Boeing will continue to support the management of selected spare parts and consumable materials used in Malaysia Airlines’ daily fleet operations. Through local consignment inventory, the partnership aims to improve access to required materials, streamline maintenance planning and enable faster responses to operational needs.
Malaysia Airlines Chief Operating Officer Aida Salfaraz Ahmad Fadzil said Boeing’s IMM services play an important role in supporting the airline’s fleet operations, adding that consistent access to parts and materials contributes to operational reliability and efficiency.
William Ampofo, Senior Vice President of Parts & Distribution and Supply Chain at Boeing Global Services, said the IMM program helps airlines improve material readiness by ensuring that the right part is available at the right place and at the right time.
