Oman Air has launched the recruitment process for its first-ever Chief Guest Experience Officer (CGXO), aiming to bring its passenger experience initiatives under a single leadership structure. The new executive will oversee products, services and touchpoints across the entire passenger journey, from booking and airport services to onboard dining and the airline’s loyalty programme.
The recruitment follows the recent appointment of Nasser Al Sharji as CEO of Oman Air and forms part of the airline’s new strategy focused on operational performance, commercial results and passenger satisfaction. Al Sharji said Oman Air aims to respond more effectively to evolving passenger expectations while combining its distinctive Omani hospitality with international competitiveness.
Oman Air is also planning a series of investments to be introduced gradually over the coming years, including cabin interior upgrades, enhancements to onboard dining, digital services and its loyalty programme. The new CGXO will be responsible for aligning these projects under a unified passenger experience strategy, evaluating passenger feedback and operational data, and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
