Tajikistan-based private carrier Shohin Airlines has announced an order for four Airbus A320neo Family aircraft. The airline’s first-ever Airbus order includes two A320neo and two A321neo aircraft. The agreement had previously appeared in Airbus’ order book at the end of June as an undisclosed customer.
Founded in June 2025, Shohin Airlines aims to develop an extensive route network and establish itself as a strong international brand representing Tajikistan. The new aircraft will play a key role in launching the airline’s regional and global operations.
The A320neo aircraft will be configured with 176 seats in a dual-class layout, while the A321neo will accommodate 196 passengers in a two-class configuration.
Shohin Airlines Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Zafar Ahmadzoda described the agreement as a milestone not only for the airline but also for Tajikistan’s civil aviation sector.

The Airbus A320 Family, the world’s best-selling single-aisle aircraft family, has received more than 20,000 orders to date. The A321neo, the largest member of the family, offers greater range and higher performance while delivering at least 20 percent lower fuel consumption and carbon emissions compared with previous-generation single-aisle aircraft.
